The position is vacant for the period of absence of a member of staff.

Extent of Employment: 40 hours/week
Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: §48 VwGr. B1 lit. b (postdoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.

Job Description:
Your responsibilities include participation in administrative tasks, in publications and in international conferences and interdisciplinary projects, as well as independent research activities. Furthermore: Participation in research, teaching and administration – (International) publishing and presentation activities – Holding classes due to extent regulations of wage agreement – Examination activities – Support of students – Participation in administration of the institute /department

Profile:
PhD in the field of Ethnomusicology- Excellent Knowledge of principles of teaching- High command of written and oral language- Foreign languages – Ability to work in teams.
Experience in fieldwork
Regional focus: Africa or Asia

Experience in third-party fund raising, experience in international science management, interest in interdisciplinary research
