Aimed at students, arts organisations and practitioners the podcast discusses how cultural policy impacts folk arts organisations in the UK’s devolved nations, regions and the Isle of Man and the potential effects of the UK’s ratification of UNESCO’s Convention on Intangible Cultural Heritage.
The podcast features in depth interviews with arts organisations and introduces some key concepts and frameworks in cultural policy across the UK and IoM. Each episode comes with summary show notes and further readings in English, Welsh, Manx, Scottish Gaelic and Irish.
