BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY (Ohio)
Position Title: Instructor in Ethnomusicology. One-year appointment.
Appointment Effective August 2011
The primary responsibilities of this position include teaching world music and/or music appreciation in the general education curriculum, area studies courses in world music and other teaching duties as assigned by the chair and/or dean.
1. Doctorate (earned or ABD) in ethnomusicology (doctorate preferred). Area of expertise is open.
2. Demonstrated successful teaching experience at the college level.
The salary is competitive and commensurate with peer institution levels for rank and position, and in keeping with candidate’s experience and credentials.
